| Abstract: | Notes on members of the family Zingiberaceae in the area included in the Flora of tropical East Africa are given. Three new species of Aframomum are described: A. orientale from coastal Tanzania, A. verrucosum from lakeside forests in Uganda and Tanzania, and A. albiflorum from Malawi. Two new combinations are made in Siphonochilus, and notes are given on 4 spp. of Costus. |
