Herb to 4 m high in light gap. Not clumping. Base of leafy shoot above soil in leaf litter. Flowering shrub, each shoot with one open flower; about ten shoots with open flowers within a 10 m radius. Flower very pale mauve, almost pale pink. Mixed species terra firma forest.
